About

Alex is a Filipina American ceramicist based in Brooklyn, New York. She creates functional objects with clean modern lines and a nod to ancient forms. Her goal as an artist is to make beautiful objects that seamlessly blend into everyday life.

After earning her B.A. in philosophy and a career in biomedical research, she left academia to explore the world and create. Now, she teaches and creates ceramics full time. Her greatest joy is seeing her pots living their lives in people’s homes.
